Pipeworks Brewing Co is a self-distributing brewery in Illinois and Wisconsin with export to several states nationally. Pipeworks is looking to expand its sales team to include a local Sales Representative.

Primary responsibilities will include increasing sales at existing accounts and working closely with the sales team to open new accounts. Organization, effective communication, and the ability to participate in demand forecasting will be essential.

The ideal person for this position will be professional, self-motivated while willing to work as part of a team, and data driven.

Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Developing strong working alliances with key on and off premise accounts to better facilitate sales and increase value.

  • Delivering data-driven insights with the goal of enhancing sales forecasting.

  • Maintaining updated account lists and enhance the documentation of account details.

  • Coordinating with the Sales Director and Pipeworks Management to develop and hit sales goals.

  • Cultivating a deep understanding of the Pipeworks portfolio which includes a constant flow of new SKUs.

  • Educating buyers and retailers about Pipeworks products.

  • Engaging with accounts on pointed marketing campaigns, and disseminating POS materials, and display enhancers.

  • Performing all administrative duties in a complete and timely fashion.

  • Being an everyday ambassador for Pipeworks Brewing Co and being professional and responsible at all times including situations when alcohol is present.

  • Participation in events such as festivals, store tastings, tours etc.

  • Regular travel is required.

  • Must have a current driver’s license and clean driving history.

  • The best candidates will have:

  • 2 year experience as a sales representative.

  • 1 year experience working within a brewery or beer distributor as a sales representative.

  • Experience with Google Sheets and Excel.

  • Familiarity with Encompass or a CRM similar software.
